Jack's Cat Cafe

I come to Jack's every time I come to Hoi An. It's the best cat café I've ever been to in all my travels. The cats are obviously well cared for and well-loved. The drinks are tasty. The entire place is clean and well-designed, especially this newest location. The people who run Jack's are some of the kindest, most caring people you'll ever meet. They're doing amazing work and deserve your support. I always leave a donation when my time there is up and I hope everyone else who visits does the same.

I loved this experience! Don’t forget to book in advance. They are only open 3 times a week for a short time to allow the cats their rest and privacy. This means that they are super happy and cuddly and want all your attention when you come in though there’s over a 100 cats and the staff and volunteers know all of them by name and are happy to tell you all their stories and little quirks. The space feels super peaceful, well taken care of and clean. Highly recommend a visit!

I didn’t take any photos because I was too caught up in the experience, which says a lot about how special it was. The coconut coffee was good, but the real reason to come here is the cats. They are clearly well cared for, and a couple of hours with them is time well spent. I also bought a tote bag that supports their mission to make Hoi An dog and cat meat free. The quality is great and the message is even better. Do yourself a favor and visit. It is a meaningful way to spend part of your day while supporting a cause that matters.

The most memorable part of our 10 days trip! We chanced upon Jack’s Cat Cafe on Google while searching up must visit places in Hoi An, and we had the happiest time ever! Aside from the extremely cute 100+ cats and few dogs that we met, the owners themselves are literal angels! The owners were God-sent, sacrificing their lives back home in Europe to take care of local kitties in a little town called Hoi An. We felt much positive energy and unconditional love from them for the animals there. We are so thankful for all the work that they’ve done, and we appreciate them so much for making the world a better place for all the cats & dogs that they’ve ever came across. Every cat or dog has a name, and a story to tell, each one with their own unique personalities and charm. Although operating at full capacity, no animal would be turned away by them. We were lucky to have had the time to visit on 3 different days, no amount of time will ever be enough there! Please remember to book in advance, visits are kept short as they prioritize the well-being of the animals there. Thank you for the unforgettable times we spent at your sanctuary. I recently visited for the second time. The staff are lovely and they have made a perfect haven for the cats at the new location. The cats are all healthy and happy. I had a wonderful morning with the cats and could have stayed all day! The work they do is amazing, please support them by visiting.

The best run cat cafe we have ever been to. The restriction on visiting hours means that the cats are more than happy to see you, with many actually being very affectionate and keen to sit on your lap! After leaving, we were more than happy to pay the entrance fee considering how many cats there are here that need feeding and how much work goes into looking after them, and also after learning how important it is to have places such as this in Vietnam (thanks to the educational guidebook provided at the cafe). The staff were happy to tell us all about the cats and their names :) Please disregard any negative reviews on this place, it fully deserves 5 stars both for the experience and how well run it is for the cats.

We really enjoyed our visit, they are only open certain days of the week and you need to make a reservation in advance. All the cats were extremely friendly and loved to be petted. The people from the shelter were also very nice and pleasant to talk to. The entrance fee is 150K in which you have one included drink and the rest goes to the support of the shelter.

They’re doing amazing work here at this shelter / cat cafe! The cats are all amazingly friendly - sit down and you’ll have a few on your lap or even on your shoulders. The volunteers are really lovely, know all the cats by name and can tell you all about them. They’re doing such great work in the community - definitely take the time to go in and support these guys!
